She is employed at the Faculty of Education and Educational Sciences, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, at the Department of Kinesiology. She has extensive scientific, research, and professional experience relevant to the interdisciplinary project “Individual and Contextual Factors Contributing to the Development of Mental and Physical Health (INKOMET)”.
Her scientific interests focus on kinesiology education, physical activity, rehabilitation, and health-related aspects of children, with particular emphasis on children with chronic diseases and special educational needs. She graduated in 2010 from the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Zagreb, specializing in Kinesiotherapy, where she already addressed diabetes-related topics in her graduation thesis. She obtained her PhD in 2021 from the same faculty, with a doctoral dissertation focused on kinanthropological characteristics, physical activity, and specific health conditions in children.
She is the author and co-author of numerous scientific and professional publications addressing the development and rehabilitation of children with cochlear implants, with a particular focus on motor abilities and factors influencing their development. She has published a series of studies examining physical activity and its association with children’s mental health, socio-emotional development, and working memory, and has contributed to the development and validation of new measurement instruments in the field of kinesiology.
Over the past five years, she has published 11 scientific and professional papers, three of which are indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science databases. In total, she has authored or co-authored 14 original scientific papers, five of which are indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. According to citation databases, she has an h-index of 2 in both Scopus and Google Scholar, with a total of 106 citations.
As the project leader, she is responsible for the overall project management, coordination of the research team, supervision of research activities, financial and administrative project monitoring, ensuring ethical compliance of the research, and dissemination of scientific results.

Within the project, he is responsible for the validation of instruments for assessing the quality of life of children with type 1 diabetes, data analysis, and the dissemination of results at scientific conferences. He mentors a PhD student on the topic of quality of life in children with type 1 diabetes and contributes to the preparation of scientific publications.
